Drake’s “Janice STFU” spends a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, a week after it debuted in the top spot.
Drake’s 14th career Hot 100 No. 1 is his first to reign for multiple weeks this decade. He last earned the honor with “In My Feelings,” which dominated for 10 weeks in July-September 2018.
The superstar has four of the Hot 100’s top 10, a week after he debuted nine new top 10s, all from his album ICEMAN, which tops the Billboard 200 for a second week. A week ago, thanks to the set, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, he became the first artist ever to rank at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 simultaneously on the Billboard 200.
Elsewhere, Olivia Rodrigo launches at No. 5 on the Hot 100 with “The Cure.” It’s the second top 10 from her album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, due June 12, after “Drop Dead” debuted at No. 1 in early May.
- ‘Janice STFU’ Streams, Airplay & Sales
“Janice STFU,” on OVO Sound/Republic, totaled 31.5 million official streams (down 22%), 7.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 240%) and 2,000 sold (down 39%) in the U.S. May 22-28.
The single leads the Streaming Songs chart for a second week and falls 6-15 on Digital Song Sales.
Concurrently, “Janice STFU” adds a second week at No. 1 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, which use the same multimetric methodology as the Hot 100.
Drake’s Multi-Week Hot 100 No. 1s
Of Drake’s 14 Hot 100 No. 1s — the most among solo males, as, a week earlier, he passed Michael Jackson for the milestone — “Janice STFU” is his sixth to link multiple weeks in pole position. Here’s a recap:

More Drake in the Top 10
Drake charts three other songs, also from ICEMAN, in the latest Hot 100’s top 10, and each likewise in its second week on the survey. “Shabang” holds at No. 4; “Ran to Atlanta,” featuring Future and Molly Santana, dips 2-6; and “Whisper My Name” falls 3-9. (Still, “Shabang” is up 56% to 1.8 million in radio audience.)
A week earlier, Drake extended his career count to a record 90 Hot 100 top 10s.
Rodrigo Injects ‘The Cure’ Into Top 10
Olivia Rodrigo’s “The Cure” debuts at No. 5 on the Hot 100 with 19.7 million streams, 292,000 in radio reach and 9,000 sold in its first week, following its May 22 release. It’s her eighth career top 10 and the second from her album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, due June 12. In May, lead single “Drop Dead” debuted as her fourth No. 1.
“The Cure” also debuts as Rodrigo’s third No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songschart, following “Brutal” in 2021 and “Bad Idea Right?” in 2023.
A stronger dose: Rodrigo charts the second Hot 100 hit titled “The Cure” — Lady Gaga’s different composition hit No. 39 in May 2017.
Meanwhile, both “The Cure” and “Drop Dead” represent odes to The Cure, the Robert Smith-led Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band. Rodrigo indirectly cites “personal hero”Smith in “Drop Dead,” singing, “You know all the words to ‘Just Like Heaven’/ And I know why he wrote them, now that you’re standing right here.” The group sent “Just Like Heaven” to No. 40 on the Hot 100 in 1988, and reached the top 10 the next year with the No. 2-peaking “Love Song.”
We got more Cure-ious: Is this the first instance of a top 10 Hot 100 hit sharing the name of an act that has hit the top 10? It’s not, but such double-ups are rare. The stat traces back to 1968, when “Sunshine of Your Love” and “White Room” reached Nos. 5 and 6, respectively, for rock legends Cream. In 1991, Prince hit No. 1 with his song “Cream.”
Beyond chart tie-ins, Rodrigo and Smith duetted during her 2025 Glastonbury headlining set, including on “Just Like Heaven.” Smith later told British Vogue, “She calls me up quite a bit to talk about clothes and fashion, and we have enjoyed a couple of memorable nights in the studio together. I can’t wait to hear what she does next!”
Rest of Top 10: ‘Choosin’ Texas’ & More
As five Drake songs depart the Hot 100’s top 10, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rebounds 5-2, following 10 weeks at No. 1 beginning in February. It continues for a ninth week atop Digital Song Sales and a 27th week atop the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart.
Plus, Langley’s “Be Her” jumps 14-3 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 2.
Olivia Dean also charts two songs in the Hot 100’s top 10: “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” (20-7, after rising to No. 5) and “Man I Need” (17-10, after peaking at No. 2).
Additionally in the Hot 100’s top 10, Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” climbs 16-8 after three weeks at No. 1 between January and March. It tops Radio Songs for a 15th week (69.2 million, down 3%) and the multimetric Hot R&B Songs chart for a 20th week. On the former, he extends his longest command; on the latter, the song ties his 2017 leader “That’s What I Like” for his longest No. 1 run.
